On December 29th, China (Chongqing Banan) Second hand Car Export Base signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chongqing RCEP Investment and Trade Service Center. Fu Yi, the person in charge of Chongqing Banan Second hand Car Export Base and the general manager of Huanyu Automobile, signed a contract with Lv Zheng, the director of the RCEP Service Center's Chongqing Automotive Overseas Business Division, on behalf of both parties. Mei Xiaoli, deputy director of Banan District Business Committee, Yang Ming, secretary general of RCEP Service Center, and Fu Yueming, chairman of Chongqing Huanyu Automobile, witnessed the signing together.

General Manager Fu Yi stated that this cooperation is a concrete practice in response to the country's "dual circulation" strategy and RCEP agreement, aiming to build a comprehensive economic and trade service platform that integrates legal compliance and cross-border finance through resource complementarity, break through the bottleneck of "Chongqing Automobile going global", and help Chongqing Automobile "go global".

It is reported that since its establishment, the base has innovatively adopted the "one base, dual platforms, three major features, and ten service centers" model, achieving a counter trend growth in export volume. This year, the export volume has increased by 30% year-on-year. The launch of the official website of the base has made it the first fully digitized platform for second-hand car exports in Chongqing, providing strong digital momentum for export business.

Minister Lv Zheng pointed out that the RCEP agreement helps Chongqing's second-hand car exports fully connect with overseas policy advantages, especially promoting ASEAN countries to further increase tariff reductions and exemptions for Chinese second-hand car imports, significantly improving Chongqing's competitiveness in the ASEAN market for second-hand cars.

For the future, General Manager Fu Yi revealed that both parties will promote the implementation of the full industry chain model of "vehicle+parts+logistics+finance", export "Chongqing services" and "Chinese standards", and continue to expand overseas markets.

This signing marks a solid step forward for both parties in promoting the "Chongqing Car Overseas" initiative. In the future, both sides will work together with a more open attitude and practical actions to embark on a new chapter of internationalization for second-hand cars and contribute to the prosperity and development of Chongqing's automotive industry.
