The system has a comprehensive power of 510kw and a comprehensive torque of 1040N · m. From the test drive experience, voyah FREE is not just a paper tiger that knows how to "brush parameters".

Thanks to its powerful power reserve, the Landau FREE's 0-100km/h acceleration time only takes 4.7 seconds. In sports mode, the sudden burst of torque of thousands of Newton meters can easily create a feeling of dizziness. For consumers who rarely come into contact with high-performance electric vehicles, the direct and rough performance of the voyah FREE may feel uncomfortable.

Of course, as a mid to large SUV positioned as a high-end vehicle, "high-performance" is not its only label. In economic and comfortable mode, its power output is not so "explosive", and the overall tuning is relatively softer and more linear.

In a situation where I don't want to drive too fast, I don't need such a tough suspension support setting, while the soft suspension setting in comfort mode is just right.

Interior design showcases high-end heritage

The center console of voyah FREE adopts a three screen design that can be lifted and lowered, and the size of all three screens is 12.3 inches, with clarity and smoothness also at the mainstream level of the same level. In the era when car companies generally prefer to stack large screens, it is difficult for the large screens on the center console to attract consumers' attention, but the design of lifting center consoles is not common.

It should be noted that as the core component of smart cars, the center console is no less important than the power system. Therefore, the lifting center console not only tests a car company's design ability, but also its ability to control product quality.

If there is not strong enough confidence in quality control, car companies dare not use such complex lifting mechanisms for their products. In my opinion, although the elevating center console may seem flashy, it is also a manifestation of the Landau car's muscular display.

In terms of creating the overall atmosphere, the adjustable three screen center console gives FREE a sufficient sense of technology and ceremony, but Landau Automobile is backed by a traditional car company with a deep manufacturing background, and traditional car companies also have their own understanding of high-end and luxury.

The center console of LanduFREE is basically composed of screens, but it has not forgotten to design commonly used functions as physical buttons, and all of its physical buttons are chrome plated, making them very delicate both visually and tactile. In my opinion, this is also the fundamental difference in design style between traditional car companies and new car manufacturing forces.

Due to the lack of experience in automobile manufacturing by new forces, those who enter the market with the background of the Internet and technology often focus more on intelligent interactive experiences such as car engine systems and assisted driving. It is difficult for them to consider user experience from an ergonomic perspective like traditional car companies that have been dealing with car users for many years.

From the perspective of creating a luxurious atmosphere, I personally believe that the interior atmosphere of the voyah FREE is incomparable to the new forces of car manufacturing, even the NIO, which is famous for its high-end and luxury, is no exception. Almost 90% of its interior is wrapped in leather, and the materials are very solid. Even if there is no leather wrapped area, it will not show any plastic feeling.


5 Seats Voyah Free


In terms of riding experience, the front seats of the voyah FREE are relatively well filled, and the overall wrapping and support are good. In addition, the configurations of these two seats are also quite diverse. Both the driver and passenger seats provide 12 way electric adjustment, equipped with seat ventilation, heating, massage and other functions. The driver also supports electric seat memory function.

Among them, seat ventilation and heating can correspond to consumers with different needs in the south and north, respectively. I mainly experienced the seat massage function of LanduFREE for a few hours. According to actual measurements, although the seat massage of this car has a relatively small massage force, it can have a significant effect on relieving fatigue.

Space is almost a mandatory subject for all medium to large SUVs, and the Landau FREE 2960mm wheelbase and large 5-seater layout make its rear space very spacious. It is worth mentioning that the rear seats of the voyah FREE are not only spacious, but also equipped with 5 aviation headrests, resulting in excellent leg and head support.

Obviously, as a high-end automotive brand under a traditional automotive group, Landau Motors has fully demonstrated the traditional automotive companies' understanding of high-end. In terms of car manufacturing heritage, traditional car companies have inherent advantages, but in terms of intelligent experience, traditional car companies also have natural shortcomings compared to new forces in car manufacturing, and Landau Automobile is no exception.
